Hi, my name is David Eltringham. I’m a personal injury attorney. I have my own law firm in Boca Raton, Florida.

I was always opposed, fundamentally opposed to getting money for clients, for life expenses, because it becomes a problem with the clients when they borrowed their money three years before the cases settle. This is where clients don’t have health insurance. They’ve got no, ability to self-pay. And then you’ve got a doctor who, you know, maybe does a neck surgery that costs maybe 125-150K.

In so many cases, it’s just, you know, the lawyers and the doctors, they’re running up all these bills because they think it’s going to be a better case for the client. I’ve always felt that it was a tremendous disservice to the client.
